About us:

The Nazeran Hospital, affiliated to the Mashhad Cancer Charity, was built in an area of 18,500 square meters with an infrastructure area of about 29,000 square meters. The hospital has the capacity of 200 beds in medical and diagnostic wards in accordance with safety standards for hospitals.

Relying on God Almighty, Nazeran Hospital is the only oncology charity hospital in Mashhad, employing capable and committed human resources, using modern and advanced equipment to provide safe and effective as well as quality diagnostic and therapeutic services, relying on the power of donors to patients, especially the vulnerable and low-income groups.

In its 5-year perspective and based on the potential capacity of the Mashhad Cancer Support Charity Association, Nazeran Hospital is determined to be recognized as the most equipped and the safest sub specialty oncology center in the east of the country. It aims to provide educational, research, and treatment services as well.

Facilities and equipment :

Wide corridors with natural light in each ward and the windows in each room are among the desirable services that have been considered in the architecture of the hospital. Interactive TV with access to all media, refrigerator, private bathroom and toilet for each room, automatic air conditioning system, nurse call, suction and oxygen central and etc.

• Pharmacy

The pharmacy of Nazeran Hospital is located in the lobby of the hospital adjacent to the specialized clinic. This pharmacy, which provides drugs related to cancer patients , has been active since the establishment of this hospital.

• Emergency

The emergency room is located on the ground floor of the Nazeran Hospital. At admission, patients receive all necessary medical services by referring to the emergency department and using emergency medicine specialists and experienced staff.

12 adult beds, Emergency operation room, CPR room, Isolated rooms, checkup room, Intravenous therapy, D.C Shock, Electrocardiograph machines, 2 portable monitors, 13 fixed monitors, Suctions, Plastering, minimal surgery, Injection and dressing rooms. Triage center with independent nurse and secretary equipped with all standard necessities, resident general physicians.

• Rose (Chemotherapy)

Rose ward, at Nazeran hospital, is on the ground floor. Chemotherapy is a drug treatment that uses powerful chemicals to kill fast-growing cells in your body. Chemotherapy is most often used to treat cancer, since cancer cells grow and multiply much more quickly than most cells in the body.

There are a variety of settings in which chemotherapy may be used for people with cancer:

To cure the cancer without other treatments or after other treatments, to kill hidden cancer cells, to prepare them for other treatments, to alleviate signs and symptoms.

• ICU

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Nazeran hospital is on the first floor adjacent to the operation room and the Internal-Surgery ward. This unit provides ongoing specialized services for patients in need of respiratory support, stroke, traumatic brain injury, and all nursing care by resident anesthesiologists as well as experienced nursing experts who have passed the courses of the special ward. The unit consist of 12 beds and 1 isolated bed in separate area.

• General surgery operating ward

Operating department is located on the first floor adjacent to ICU and the Internal -Surgery ward and includes the following sections: 5 equipped surgery rooms using novel and well-established methods for patients who require different types of treatment and diagnostic surgeries such as: Orthopedic, Urology, general surgeries with open, advanced, or Laparoscopic methods, brain and neurosurgeries, Laparotomy, Rhinoplasty, E.N.T (ear, nose, throat) surgeries. Thorax surgery is also admitted and treated.

• Imaging

The imaging ward is located on the -1 floor of Nazeran Hospital and is equipped with the most advanced equipment and devices performing all simple and specialized imaging. The imaging services of the Nazeran hospital are available 24 hours a day.

All imaging services with anesthesia are performed by a residing anesthesiologist in the ward every day.

• Laboratory

The labratory is located on the first floor of Nazeran Hospital; it is equipped with accurate and modern laboratory equipment with various diagnostic departments, such as biochemistry, microbiology, hematology, immunology, and pathology.

Measuring “tumor markers” for the “follow-up” treatment of cancer patients has been done in this laboratory on a daily basis.

• Clinic

The Supervisors’ Clinic is located on the ground floor of the hospital. The specialized clinic visits and treats patients with specialist physicians and surgeons. The use of experienced specialists in the specialized clinic of Nazeran Hospital is one of the advantages of this clinic.

It also includes Hematologist, Radiotherapist and Oncologist, General Surgeon, Internal Medicine, Gastroenterologist, Obstetrician, Anesthesiologist, Cardiologist, Diabetes Clinic, Wound and Ostomy Clinic, Pediatrician

• Endoscopy

In this section, Upper endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Esophageal stenting, Polypectomy, sampling, balloon, achalasia and Obesity balloon are performed.

The equipment of the ward includes endoscopic and colonoscopic devices Olympus 190 brand, which is currently the latest model with FULL HD images, higher resolutions, extensive image contrast, the ability to o bserve vascular and intravascular images.
