Laboratory
The laboratory is located on the basement floor. The hospital laboratory at Nazaran is equipped with advanced and precise laboratory equipment and has various diagnostic sections, including biochemistry, microbiology, hematology, immunology, and pathology. The measurement of “tumor markers” for the “follow-up” of cancer patients is performed daily in this laboratory. The laboratory provides necessary tests for diagnosing and monitoring the treatment of cancer patients. The laboratory at Nazaran Hospital is equipped with a “Pathology Slide Scanner” and is capable of selecting patients suitable for new cancer treatments, such as immunotherapy and targeted therapy, using specialized software and specific staining techniques. Telepathology is also available, allowing for the transmission of pathology slide images to more advanced centers within and outside the country for consultation.
